I’m Hannah, an artist who believes in slow growth, the importance of spending time in nature, the joy of connecting with another over a cup of coffee, and curating a life full of beauty. I’m a painter influenced by French Impressionist painters like Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, as well as post-World War II Abstract Expressionism. When I’m not creating art, I enjoy taking daily walks with my son, organizing my closet for the hundredth time, or dreaming about my next travel adventure in the USA or abroad. I am also an avid reader and enjoy working with authors & publishers to help launch their books to the world!

 

I love color and am not afraid to overlap lots of hues of paint using different brushstrokes to create various textures. In fact, that’s when the magic happens! My approach to creating is both playful and mindful. Composition, visual hierarchy, texture, and color are integral. My paintings are often inspired by reflections in nature and the beauty found in the messiness of life.

 

FUN FACTS:

 

• When I was little, my grandma taught me to say the alphabet backwards when I was first learning it. Now, I can say the alphabet just as fast backwards as forwards.
   

• My first business was a pen business in the 5th grade. I’ve always had a love for art and school supplies.
   

• I have a B.A. in Studio Art and an M.B.A. from Rollins College where I was the first studio art major to graduate from the rigorous Accelerated Management Program where I graduated with both degrees in 5 years. 
   

• I love school and learning. After completing my B.A. & M.B.A., I decided to go to design school where I graduated with an M.F.A. in Design Management from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
   

• A native of Orlando, FL, I’ve visited Disney probably 500 times. It’s visually inspiring for me. I love visiting all the parks!
   

• I would love to visit all 50 states. As of today, I have visited 38 states.
   

• I’m married to my high school sweetheart and I have the awkward prom pose photographs to prove it.
